Before you apply.
Your comp is 130%, always. Here’s how contracting and application review work.
Can everyone contract with Direct 130?
Applicants need an active life insurance license and must meet the contracting requirements:
Why the credit check, and does it hurt my score?
The application includes an authorization for a soft credit inquiry for carrier appointment purposes. Review the authorization before submitting it. Submission alone does not confirm that a check has been completed.
Why can't I already be with an affiliated agency?
Direct 130 does not contract agents who are already building inside an affiliated agency, IMO, or FMO. It keeps the arrangement fair for those agency owners, and it means we never recruit out of someone else's downline.
How is my license verified?
We use your NPN and resident-state details to look for your license record. Where an online record is unavailable, the application can request a NIPR producer report. The record must show an active life line of authority.
Is every product really 130%?
Yes. Direct 130 promises 130% comp, always, on term life, IUL, and final expense. Your carrier agreement explains payment timing, advances, renewals, and chargebacks.
Do I have to recruit?
No. Recruiting is not required. You’re here to write business.
What does approval look like?
Start with your NPN, provide your details, and complete the identity and authorization steps. Your completed application joins the waitlist. We’ll email you if you’re approved. Dashboard access stays closed until approval, and carrier appointments are confirmed separately.
